7th December has been a good day.  The firsts stepped up their afternoon game after falling everyso slightly behind in the second and third quarters. They fought to the bitter end, resulting in 25 goals for both sides against Doves 2 . . . a draw, now that doesn't happen very often! It was an early start for the seconds who put out a determined team.   Players were thrilled that their hard work payed off in a game that resulted in a very convincing win, 25/9 against Frampton 2.  Keep up the good work ONC!

Despite an overload of rain, both league teams performed to their usual high standard in their sodden kit first thing this morning.  The first team put forward a convincing performance that gave spectators a nail biting time, being pipped at the post in the very last quarter by Bristol and West. The seconds flung everything they had at Longwell Green which resulted in a well earned victory - on a roll for sure seconds!

Double win!History was made today with both ONC teams wining a league game on the same day - a first for our young club!  Both teams have been hungry for a run of wins, and welcomed today's double whammy.  Fine displays from both teams resulted in a few more points to be added to the scoreboads.  Great team and individual determination helped to take our games up a notch :D  Supporting local business - the pub :), players, umpires and supporters partook in a celebratory drink afterwards to help make the occassion a memorable one. It has been a good day!

  4. League Games - the latest news.

Third game into the season for both teams and all is looking good!  The first team played a cracking game yesterday, with the shooters getting their eye in offering a record score of 44 against Frys.  A fantastic all round effort with a well deserved POM for Nicky. The second team picked up another point for a very close and well fought match the week before - just being pipped at the post by the PSL Panthers. Julie's absolute determination was noticed by the Panthers, taking the title of POM :)
